Commentary

Zwei nicht aneinanderpassende Fragmente eines nicht näher identifizierten Monuments, Statuenbasis oder Altar, Bau- oder Ehreninschrift? Reste von Volutendekor, mit dem das Inschriftfeld gerahmt war. Text 2 befindet sich auf dem Sockel, A und V übereinander geschrieben. Text 2, Z. 1: --- leg(io) VIII] Aug(usta) t[emplum ---? Die Maßangabe bezieht sich auf das erste Fragment; Maße Fragment 2: (17) x (17) cm. Erhalten sind noch weitere, z.T. reliefverzierte Teile (Profile und Leisten, Gesims) einer Basis vom selben Fundort.
