Dies liegt jedoch lediglich 8km NNO und bietet keine Erklärung für den Namen. Dieser

Dies scheint eine Entscheidung zugunsten von Canta nahezulegen, auch wenn es etwa 24 km NÖ liegt (könnte bei 16 *Meilen* passen).
Namensform ebenso bei geonames und engl. Wikipedia; von dort auch die Koordinaten; google maps kennt unter Canta nur die nordöstlich liegende Çanta Belediyesi Toplu Konutları, Silivri, Turkey;
mit Cantaköy liegt der Marker nordwestlich des Ortes an der Straße Eski Cantaköy - Yeni Cantaköy an deren einem Ende tatsächlich der (ansonsten nicht suchbare) Ort Eski Cantaköy auszumachen ist.
