Commentary
Fragment a: beidseitig beschrieben; Buchstabenhöhe auf Seite B: 6 cm. Fragment b: 1894 gefunden; (50) x (28) x 15 cm; auf Seite A Rosette in einer ansa, auf Seite B beschrieben und Reste einer ansa. Inschriftfeld auf beiden Seiten in Form einer tabula ansata. Seite A: wohl die erste, dann verworfene Beschriftung; breite ansae und kürzere Zeilen. Seite B: wohl die endgültige Beschriftung; schmale ansae und längere Zeilen; Ergänzungsvorschlag ab Z. 4 von B. Gräf. Autopsie R. Wiegels. Ein Fragment mit den Buchstaben SI oder IS kann nicht genau eingeordnet werden (s. F039264, F039265, F039266, F0392657, F039268). (B): Haug - Sixt: Wiedergabe des rekonstruierten Textes von Seite B unter Zuhilfenahme von Seite A: [In h(onorem) d(omus) d(ivinae) aede[m] / [Matri] deum [C(aius)] / [Iunius Va]lens e[t] / [Rufa uxor] eius de [s]uo / [consecraver]unt / [Apro et Maximo co(n)]s(ulibus).
