Commentary
Im Giebelfeld steht ein Diskus. Darstellung eines jungen Kriegers: Helm, Panzer, Beinschienen, sowie Dolch mit Gürtel und runder Schild sind auch vorhanden. Die Legio VIII Augusta war zw. 45-69 in Moesien. Die Dienstjahre des verstorbenen werden unter Nero gefallen sein, denn der dargestellte Krieger trägt ""üppig gehaltenes Haar"" (vgl. E. Pfuhl - E. Möbius, Die ostgriechischen Grabreliefs (Mainz 1977) 117).
