Über einigen Buchstaben der Worte nómin[e] (Z. 1), á có(n)s(ule) (Z. 3), aéternitáti (Z. 4), Rómae (Z. 4), órnámentis (Z. 5), incohávit (Z. 6) und dédic(avit) (Z. 7) sind Apices angegeben. Ergänzung der Zeilen 4 (Ende) und 5 (Anfang) in Anlehnung an die Z. 1 eines in der Nähe gefundenen Fragments, das möglicherweise zu einer (antoninischen?) Abschrift der vorliegenden Inschrift gehört (s. Alföldy, a.O. 369-370 m. Anm. 9; Pais, a.O. 100, Nr. 746): [--- Au]gustor[um]. terminus ad quem: 79 n. Chr.: Adoption des [- Caeci]lius Secundus (= Plin. d. J.) durch L. Ca[eciliu]s C.f. Ouf. Secundus (= Plin. d.Ä.), wodurch jener den Gentilnamen Plinius in seine Nomenklatur aufnahm. terminus a quo: 77/78 n. Chr.: Erlangung der Mündigkeit (Erhalt der toga virilis). (B): Pais: Z. 4/5: Augu[sti]/[c]um.
